SUMMARY : Based on the events that took place between the Indian and Chinese troops at the Galwan region on June 15, 2020 when 200 Indian soldiers bravely defended their territory against a force of 1200 Chinese Liberation Army soldiers. The previously announced film based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, originally titled "Galwan", has been officially renamed "Maatrubhumi" (मातृभूमि). The change was made to emphasize patriotism and the spirit of sacrifice, with the new title meaning "Motherland." Producers stated the original name was too geographically specific, while Maatrubhumi captures the emotional and nationalistic essence of the story honoring fallen Indian soldiers.
